Aircraft Flaps
What Are Aircraft Flaps?
Flaps are located on the ends of the wings of any fixed-wing aircraft. They are used to generate lift and to reduce the minimum airspeed while in flight. They are also used to increase the angle of descent during landing. They create a lot of drag when they’re not needed, so when not in use, they can be retracted.
