What Is the D-085 from the FAA?

D-085 is an FAA listing that defines which aircraft can fly for compensation and therefore which aircraft can legally be used for private jet charter services. Any of these aircraft must have a Part 135 certificate. The name D-085 refers to the listing’s location on the 85th page of Section D of the Operations Manual.
