Aircraft Elevator
What Is an Aircraft Elevator?
An elevator is a flap located at the read of the aircraft that controls the pitch of the aircraft. They are usually connected to the tailplane or horizontal stabilizers on an aircraft. When the elevators are pointed up, they force the tail down and the aircraft angles upwards to climb and if they are pointed down, they force the tail up and the aircraft angles down to descend.
