What Is an Ultralight Aircraft?

An ultralight aircraft is a sport or recreational size of aircraft. They can generally only one person (the pilot) and no passengers. They do not require pilot’s licenses to operate and are therefore not allowed for use in private jet charters. Ultralight aircraft can either be powered or unpowered and weigh between 155 and 254 pounds.
