TOP 5 YACHTS FROM THE 2017 CANNES AND MONACO YACHT SHOWS

The Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show has marked the official commencement of this year’s yachting season. The show features over 100 yachts including 84 yachts differing in speed, size and design making their global debut. With the impressive number of launches, it is believed by many observers that this was the best Cannes yacht show of the decade. Listed below is our top 5 yachts of the 2017 shows:

AZIMUT 35 METRI

This yacht is the new flagship of the Azimut grand line. This yacht showcases the best of technical, style and design concept of the shipyard. Powered by two MTU 16V 2000 M93 2,400 HP engines, the boat has a 1,500-mile range at 12 knots. The main deck contains the owner’s suite, with a semi-circular modular sofa, and the living zone. The floor-to-ceiling height converts windows into walls by providing them with an incomparable panoramic view. It also has a three-floor spiral staircase and a private terrace.

CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 33

This four-deck Custom Line is sleek and ship-like in appearance. It is designed with simple, down-home styles. Its 108-footers interior is contemporary Italian, with natural black-walnut paneling covering the walls along with modern artworks. It has saloons, lounges, wet bars, sunbeds, and a swimming pool. It allows for a submersible platform if guests want access to the water from the now-expanded beach club area. The social and dining areas have a large sense of space.

MULDER DELTA ONE

The yacht has a vertical bow, high bulwarks, and protected foredeck and has an almost ship-like look which is quite impressive. It is all-aluminium and is notable for her transatlantic cruising range. The main deck saloon has a lounge, dining room and bar area, eight-person Jacuzzi, with large windows to provide panoramic views. A folding super yacht terrace further improves the view from the dining table.

This yacht is a 67 meter full custom super yacht with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. It is fitted with 2 1380kW Caterpillar engines; it has a top speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. Its 32 by 14-foot swimming pool can be converted into a basketball court while the veranda can switch from indoor to outdoor. It also features a gym, an American bar, and a wood-burning pizza oven
